The Pennsylvania State Police will be hosting a Citizens’ Police Academy (CPA) at the Pennsylvania State Police Reading station. The program will expand citizen’s knowledge and understanding of the law and explore police procedure from the perspective of the Pennsylvania State Police. The Citizens’ Police Academy involves approximately 20 hours of instruction taught in 2 hour segments. The program is scheduled to begin Wednesday, March 1, 2017 and end Wednesday, May 3, 2017. Participants meet each Wednesday night for 10 weeks from 6:30pm – 8:45pm. Students must attend 75% or more of the scheduled classes in order to be eligible to graduate and receive a certificate.
